Club Events Calendar for Members and Guests

This page lists special club events that may be of interest to members of other clubs, or to guests who would like to visit or join a Toastmasters club.

Clubs wishing to have their event posted should submit it in the form of a flyer. Specialty clubs wishing to be listed should submit their meeting dates (actual dates, not meeting frequency) along with a descriptive flyer. (To post information about Area, Division, or District contests and trainings, please use our Event Posting Form.)

Note: Our District has more than 200 clubs between San Francisco and the Monterey - Salinas region. Most of the clubs have speech contests twice a year, during February and August. Please refer to our District 4 Clubs page if you would like to find and attend a club's contests.

Flyers can be accepted in Word (doc), PowerPoint (ppt) or Acrobat (pdf) format. Word and PowerPoint files will be converted to Acrobat PDFs before posting. Note that non-standard fonts should not be used on flyers as they will not display properly on PCs without the fonts installed.

Suggestions for your information are at the bottom of the Event Posting Form.

White Elephant Auction is a sort of glorified yard sale, usually involving collections from lots of different people. Often it's a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization, and you can expect the contents to be of a somewhat better quality than the average flea market. Person selling the item has 30-45 seconds to describe the item and bidding starts at the suggested minimum price. This will be an English style auction (see attachment for instructions).

Menlo Park Toastmasters Club: Students at Open House

Politically active students tell their story...
For the past 4 years, local Toastmasters have been helping the high school and college students of Vision New America with their speeches, before the students serve as interns to local politicians in San Jose, Sacramento, and Washington, DC.

Now the students will tell you their story -- how and why they are involved in politics, and how you or your children can also become involved. Their 1/2 hour presentation includes Q&A at the end.

After a short intermission, Menlo Park Toastmasters will present a 1/2 hour demo meeting, to introduce its guests to the benefits of the Toastmasters program. We provide food too!

Please visit our event registration website for more information. Please register by June 19 so that we can arrange for the seating and food. We need to limit the attendance to 50 people. Thank you.
